My Problem?

How do I describe these powerful new design aids and techniques without making it sound like a bunch of hype? If you hang in here with me for a few minutes, you'll quickly see that what I have to show you is easy-as-ABC, quite simple to learn and apply, and devastatingly profitable.

Here's my Story

A few months ago I was working on a presentation for someone quite special. I have known her for several months and had several opportunities to win her business. Unfortunately I was unsuccessful in my last three attempts to win her business.

Was it the way I dressed?
Was there something wrong with my approach?
Was it my presentation?

As it turns out, it was none of the above. My client likes humor and a straightforwardness. I learned this after talking with her in depth and discovering that she was really a fun gal. This gave me insight into a potential way to reach her.

In the next proposal I submitted I used less text and more graphic appeal with icons.

I wouldn't be writing this story if it didn't have a good ending. The truth is I did not win that contract either but was invited to brainstorm with top level executives. The meeting was set for Thursday. In the meeting, I learned my presentation got their attention!
